Southern Conference tri-champion Appalachian State put a league-high 12 players on the all-conference first and second football teams, shared the lead league with five all-freshman honorees, and claimed two of the individual postseason awards, as voted by the league's nine head coaches and announced by the league office Tuesday.

His middle initial has to be an "S".

We are really going to really miss our graduating ALL Conference players.

It is what it is...but I think Miller should've been first team. 2nd leading rusher, and caught a fair amount of passes.

Oh well - make 'em regret it in the playoffs, Steven!

Miller was 1st Team in the media list. I don't have the link but it was on AGS.

After the season our guys put together in spite of injuries and inexperience, I'm voting the whole bunch of them first team all-conference.

No ol or dline 1or 2nd team? Should be a point of recruiting emphasis?

Funny as hell. Thats exactly what I thought. They probably blame his missed tries on the refs too. Must be the only freshman kicker in the league. Bless his heart.

Look again Ronald Blair was 2nd team DL. The others may have simply been over looked due to the massive amounts of attrition on each line. Plus both lines are very young, least of our recruiting needs.

I also believe Stephen Burns, Devante Harris, and Shaq Counts were on the all freshman team.
