Sounds good. When we filled out the game day surveys, I suggested the first three home games be played at 3:30 pm and the remaining three home games of the season start at 2:00 pm. Helps with getting up the mountain, tailgating and getting the (W) before the sun goes down and the cold sets in. DG is awesome.

Wouldn't be surprised if Wake is a non-traditional time. Same with Louisiana because every other conference will have a championship game and we found out last year that FBS football will get picked before the FCS playoffs.

No reason for NMSU and Coastal to be anything other than 3:30 as it's Homecoming and Parents Weekend, respectively.

Wake at, say, 6 pm would be awesome. Of course 3:30 would be plenty awesome too.

Wake at anything later than 12 would be a victory.

This game is a chance for us to remind our piedmont neighbors just how great our tailgate atmosphere is. Tough to do that when people are only tailgating for 2 hours, and the entire student body + general admission crowd is lined up at KBS at 9am.

I didn't think we had much to say about game time. I thought it was up to the broadcast preferences....?????

It stinks that we are playing Georgia Southern on Thursday night again.

It's a rivalry game that will draw viewers. It could be worse. Is it the MAC that has most of their games on Thursday?

The MAC doesn't have a single Saturday game in the month of November this fall.

Agreed. However, I'll be happy with a nooner if the alternative is a Friday game. We got a gift with UGA from the mothership... could we get 2 in a row? Hoping EastHall gets his wishes (3:30 or 6)... just please no weeknight.

Playing on national TV (and, you know, fulfilling the league's contractual obligations in exchange for what ESPN pays them/us) is certainly a valid reason, your personal preference notwithstanding.

As for Wake, I doubt we play them at noon. The Miami game, as we all remember, was ESPN's call. I'm not sure I see ESPN applying the same kind of pressure for App vs. Wake.

I see what you mean, but I would rather see KBS full to the gills and rocking like the days of old than be on national TV. But as you implied, that's my personal preference and I feel there are thousands who would agree with me. Plus, Thursday games cause a disruption to classes and parking for students and others.

I seriously doubt most students are upset with class and parking disruptions.

One Thursday night game, Ga south has two Thursday and one Wednesday. I am happy with ours.
