Bus to UGA game
Going to test the waters here for interest in a down and back bus trip to Athens. I realize it's not that long of a drive and would be more cost effective to load a car and go. However, this might appeal to those that would be traveling alone or those that don't want to hassle with parking and/or an overnight hotel stay. UGA Athletics tells me the bus parking lot is within walking distance to the stadium.
I'll run this for 30 days. If the interest is not there, I'll drop the idea and continue with my personal plans. I'm going anyway. A specific itinerary would develop later. So here goes:
Leave Winston-Salem mid-morning Saturday.
Stop in Charlotte.
Arrive in Athens mid-afternoon.
Return after game.
The cost would be $60 per person. This is the same coach line (H&R) that traveled to Montgomery for both bowl games.

Glad to explore any pick up points. Additional stops will increase the cost slightly.TheMoody1 wrote:Last time to Athens the bus picked us up in Greenville, SC. Would that be a possibility?

Re: Bus to UGA game
So far, there's little interest in this due to, I assume, the proximity of Athens. I'll run another two weeks anyway.asualum78 wrote:I'm in if you pick up in Greenville again (3)
Re: Bus to UGA game
If it materializes into a trip, I could be good for 3. Keep me posted. I will also send an email separately to everyone that went on the last bus trip to Montgomery this past year and see their interest. Thanks for starting the idea!
