Re: New video board
I am having a really hard time getting size from that angle. Can someone go and take photos from a few different angles? It looks great!!!!

Re: New video board
Think we will shoot fireworks from atop the scoreboard now? A lot of teams do that.

Re: New video board
Not to go off topic here but the only noticeable eye sore in that pic is the track. Can't we at least paint it turf green for the time being and keep the lines on it for the track team? Not sure if that works for track use as I'm not a track & field expert by any means!appgrouch wrote:

I think we all agree that the track stinks. Could it be covered during the season with turf?ASUGoose wrote:Not to go off topic here but the only noticeable eye sore in that pic is the track. During a dry, windy, fall day that would be one big fire.ComebackShack wrote:Think we will shoot fireworks from atop the scoreboard now? A lot of teams do that.

Re: New video board
Have I mentioned today that it is huge, and only can be appreciated by actually witnessing it? Have I mentioned that? Today? If not, I say it again, you must see this thing to appreciate it.

Re: New video board
I watched the setting of a few of the speakers today. The far right and far left panels are for the sound system, so those won't have video on them. The speakers will have some sort of reverb / windproofing mesh on them on which sponsor ads will be displayed. That will free up the entire video screen for video other than ads. The speakers I saw were taller than the guys setting them ... I may need to look for seats on Howard's Knob.
