UGA Visitors Sections

Unread post by High Country Student » Wed Jun 14, 2017 11:56 am

Just curious does anyone know which sections we were provided tickets in for UGA?

Visitors are usually in the 600 sections. with some in the 102-104 lower corner... for large visiting crowds the top rows of 312-317 have visitor seating as well.

Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain that they became available a couple of months ago.

When I went to the App-UGA game a couple years ago, I bought tickets through ASU. My seats were literally the last row at the top of the stadium. I WAS surrounded by fellow App fans, but this time I'm planning on buying mine through Stubhub and sitting closer to the action.

I understand the appeal of sitting closer to midfield for these games, but it is Always better for the university and state of the program to buy tickets through Apps ticket office. Those sales are used when negotiating future games and bowl game bids.

We sat in the end zone corner for the last USA game. It was a great experience with our App family.

Nice to be with fellow Apps, but otherwise is about the worst place to be in the stadium.

This is not going to GA State. We are not going to get real great seats at away games with P5 teams. It is what it is. If I am going to go to one of these games I want to be with my fellow Apps no matter where we are.

The Tech Deck aka the 600 level is a long way up and very few SEC schools fill the entire level - we had a full 3 or 4 sections on our last visit + the lower sections for visitors. No reason for us not to have 10,000 + in Black & Gold Labor Day weekend in Sanford Stadium. Great fun on Rocky Top last year...let's finish it this year !
