I did not see this posted so thought I would post. At first I thought it was pretty cool but I see a couple players listed twice, Gibbs is on here and he won't return, and Coutts from Louisiana is now at California.

I think Stringer being rated #99 is a mistake. He is the best open field tackling LB that I have seen in a while. And while I certainly like 3 of our big men being ranked high, Johnson above Nunn? Hope he is that good.

So if you assign a weight that runs counter to each ranking number and total them for each school, you would have a fine experiment to see the correlation between perceived talent that has seen the field (versus subjective recruiting rankings) and wins.

30% of the top 10 players and 24% of the top 25 (if you remove Gibbs and bump Nunn up 1 spot).

Ditto on Stringer. Not sure I'd trade him for any other Sun Belt outside LB.

Another way to look at it is that we return 13 starters, and 12 of them are ranked (including 11 in the top 50). Only Caleb Fuller left off.

So unless you think we don't have any good young players ready to step up, there's a good chance this list might actually underrate us.
