I love to see Satt's reaction when asked what he likes about the team, he gave a little smirk, looks like he's pretty pumped about the season.

It is likely because your work has Twitter blocked. Firemoose is just posting the videos from twitter.

Report for those who can't see the twitter post.

BOONE, N.C. - It was another beautiful day at The Rock on Thursday evening where Appalachian State University football continued to improve on the fourth day of fall camp.

Highlights: The Mountaineers were nothing short of intense during the two-hour practice as the student-athletes were honing in their skills during individual drills and 11-on-11/7-on-7 sessions. Shemar Jean-Charles kept up the strong play with an interception for a second-straight day during 7-on-7, while Jordan Fehr also registered a pick for the second time this week. Jean-Charles and Fehr have made some noise in just the first four days with a combine four interceptions. Anthony Flory later provided the defense with its third interception on the day, giving the defense at least seven picks over the last two practices. But the offense didn't go quietly, as T.J. Watkins gave the offense a spark on a long touchdown pass, while Marcus Williams Jr. rumbled his way for a touchdown run of 40-plus yards near the end of practice. Mock Adams and Brad Absher were also able to haul in receptions including an impressive snag out of the air from Absher.

Receiving Votes: Receiving their first national recognition on Thursday, the Mountaineers received 11 votes in the the USA Today Amway Preseason Top 25 Coaches poll in the "also receiving votes" group. App ranks 16th in the poll while 41st overall in the nation, and is one of two Sun Belt teams (Troy - 6) to earn votes. The Mountaineers were picked as preseason Sun Belt favorites after a 7-1 season in the league en route to their first Sun Belt championship. App would go on to win a second-straight Camellia Bowl in a thrilling 31-28 win over Toledo to finish the season at 10-3, which gave the Mountaineers back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time since 2009-10.

Stat of the Day: App State's offense was one of the best in the nation when it came to protecting the football with just 13 turnovers in 2016. The Mountaineers finished tied for ninth and led the Sun Belt with the fewest mistakes, while turning the ball over one or zero times in 11 out of 13 games.

Camp notes from Bret Strelow today: http://www.journalnow.com/sports/app-st ... 17ebe.html

Interesting tidbit on position changes: "Demetrius Taylor signed with App State as a linebacker, and Jermaine McDaniel Jr. arrived a semester early as a defensive lineman. Both true freshmen have made strong impressions, but at different spots, with McDaniel faring well as an outside linebacker and Taylor showing promise on the defensive line."

Taylor was always considered kind of a tweener I think, so that's no surprise. But McDaniel at LB is, at least to me. We often move guys "up" a group in terms of size (e.g., LB to DE, DE to DT). Can't remember the last time we moved a guy "down" like that. If McDaniel's fast enough, he'd bring some very good size at LB.

McDaniel is going to be good wherever we put him on the field.

Wasn't McDaniel the kid who was an absolute beast in high school and had a monster game against a certain Charlotte 4A school?
