University of Massachusetts Athletics, in conjunction with multimedia rights holder Learfield's UMass Sports Properties, announced on Friday a new television partnership with Eleven Sports Network to produce and distribute all six of the Minutemen's home football games for the 2017 season. To support the availability of all six contests regionally, each will be broadcast on the NESN family of networks as well.

In order to provide numerous platforms for fans to follow the team this season, all six games airing live via Eleven Sports and NESN family of networks will also be available to watch free of charge via live stream on UMassAthletics.com.

Eleven is a lot like the American Sports Network. Here's a channel locator.

Basically you need DirectTV or Dish in the Charlotte area

I checked and it is 215 on Directv. However, will it be blacked out in ATL? I don't trust them anymore after the last few years with Southern Miss and ODU. They would list it then black out at last minute without warning.

Here in NW North Carolina, it's set for DIRECTV HD Channel #623.

When I entered my zip and DISH Network, it tried to get me to switch to DIRECT. Did you find a channel for the Charlotte area on DISH?

623 apparently isn't in my Choice plan for DirecTV.

I assume with UMASS being independent they need a deal with ESPN directly and they must not have that or don't want to have it given whatever the terms may be from ESPN.

Yep, I went to the UMass site last week during the GaSo game to check if/how they handled streaming, and their video portal said FREE next to the link to watch the game. Sure that bodes well for them streaming our game in the same way. Thanks for the link.

During the GaSo game, there was a video option available as well, with a FREE banner across it. Not sure if they wait until game time to post the video link or if that was a one-time deal.

Just a heads up....Eleven Sports is available on the PlayStation Vue streaming service (at the "Elite" tier and higher). You don't have to have a playstation console to use, only a streaming device such as: playstation, roku, firestick, apple tv, etc.

I have never personally watched the Eleven Sports channel, so I can't speak to the quality of the broadcast. I just saw the channel was available, so I plan to switch my subscription to the elite package just for the game.

FYI.....You can sign up for a FREE 7-day trial with PlayStation Vue, but I am not sure if the Eleven Sports channel is available in the trial. Could be worth checking out though!!!

According to my DirecTV guide the game will be on the NESNHD channel 628 as well as the Eleven Network 623.

Does anyone know if TWC/Spectrum will have any access?

FYI--In the Columbia, SC area Dish 412-24 is carrying the game (NESN). I assume other DISH outlets outside NE will also have it.

I actually have that channel on my Dish it is 412-24. I got it thrown in with the regional sports package last time I renewed my subscription. They cover Harvard games too I think. I have my DVR set to record the game Saturday.

So Dish had the game?
