Do somebody a solid...
Remember when you'd look from the west(home) side and see a smattering of fans on the east side??? I do!!!
I'm not even near old school...I'm sure there are tons of old school fans who look at me like I'm just wet behind the ears. Today, I received a letter from a customer with 4 tix and a parking pass for Saturday's game. I could have sold them for a shit ton of money but..The tickets are already gone...but I didn't sell them to the highest bidder...I did what I view as the right thing. I found people looking for tickets and sold them for face value...irrational...maybe...but imho, it's the right thing to do! So, if you have extras...try to avoid that greed instinct and donate for free or sell for face value...you will feel great and do somebody (or an entire fmily) a solid and hope they pass it on in the near future!!!

This is a big event for me. It came together with the help of several on this forum that shared their ticket allotments with me. I appreciate that.

Yes - we have some great fans out there who really care and want to help other APP fans - Last season I was looking for 5 tickets for old buddies coming to their 1st APP game from 4 different states - A wonderful person on this board, I won't mention HER name, gave me 5 tickets ---
All she asked was to make a small contribution to Yosef Club - I did --- Thank you!!!

Re: Do somebody a solid...
Did you make a profit since your customer put them in a letter? I guess you can take that face value money and buy some extra beer.
You possibly missed an opportunity to do the right thing for Yosef. Instead of pocketing the money, you could've asked whoever purchased the tickets at face value to make a contribution to the Yosef Club for the same amount.
It's a win-win situation. The Yosef Club gains a new member and the fan gets tickets at a great value along with a tax write off and it cost you nothing.

Re: Do somebody a solid...
I usually credit him the cost of tickets for work i do for him throughout the year. So no profit will be made. Of the four, I'm selling only two and giving the other two tickets to people who have had extras for my guests in the past.moonshine wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 6:39 amDid you make a profit since your customer put them in a letter?
