If this question has been raised in another forum , my apologies. I'm wondering if we ever showed any interest in Caylin Newton. He looked electric against UNLV and was a 3 star out of Atlanta. Pretty sure there would have been a few Cam sightings at The Rock.

Not sure how true it is but a guy I work with (went to NC Central) said he had heard Caylin wanted to start and play right away. I'm sure this turned some schools off but obviously worked out pretty well for Howard!

From what I've seen his only others came from lower FCS schools. However, us and Georgia Southern were both after Georgia Tech phenom Taquon Marshall. He could have been scary in Statesboro.
