These words spoken by David Jackson always make my eyes water because of how happy it made all of App Nation feel. Nobody could have said it any better than him. He said it straight from the heart.

Is he 100% done with App State athletics? I know he was burnt out, but I'd love to have him back.

I heard him on the game also. Certainly made me miss him. Weird watching "the voice of the mountaineers" do a Citadel/ETSU game.

Good for David, glad to see him moving ahead.

I imagine he only does home games. It's likely a good gig for him at this point. Only needs to do so many games a season and just call games. Nothing else

I for one would love to have David back calling App State football games. They wore him out doing football, basketball, baseball...and all the other media related duties. Plus I don't believe David's health was the best. Would love to see him back for football only.

Back in the day, App would have Charlie Harville come up from High Point to do just the App Football games. An arrangement like that would be nice. I miss David too!

He's doing the NFL game highlights during timeouts and halftimes for the Panthers too. It was cool to hear his voice at B of A yesterday.
