Gee whiz... I need to throw myself on the mercy of all thing App State Football. I thought kickoff was at 12:30 PM and not 3:30 PM. I had California time in my brain.... Now that I am back on the East coast, allow me to adjust my most grievous of errors... This is how folks from "The Stink" must feel... wow.. not a good feeling at all...

THE BREAKDOWN!

8 AM: Mostly Clear - Upper 50s

10 AM: Mostly Clear - Mid 60s

NOON: Mostly Sunny - Low 70s

KICKOFF: Mostly Sunny - Mid 70s

HALFTIME: Mostly Sunny - Mid 70s

END OF GAME: Mostly clear - Lower 70s.

From the West Coast... or the "Left Coast", or the land where two eggs, a meat and toast cost $17; no really, and an earthquake of 3.6 last night. I'm with 500 weather nerds near LA, and happy to take a break from the geek fest and think of football and my Mountaineers!

APPSTANDING weather is expected as a large ridge of high pressure should be in control. Thus, sunshine and comfortable temps will be had.

6 AM: Mostly clear - mid 50s

8 AM: P.Cloudy - upper 50s

10 AM: P.Cloudy - lower 60s

KICKOFF! : Mostly sunny to partly cloudy - upper 60s

Here's hoping the coaches and young men get it worked out. Last week was a chore, and we'll need it all to be in place for a beating Wake. It's football, new week, new game, anything can happen!

***THURS PM UPDATE****

No major changes to the overall forecast for Saturday. Partly cloudy skies will be more, or less, the norm. We'll bump up the Halftime and end of game temps into the mid 70s. Overall, things still look APPTASTIC weather wise for the game.
