We're gonna run inside, we're gonna run outside, we're gonna run inside and outside and we're not gonna stop until we get across that goal line.

Re: Official Angry Elder prediction thread
Wake Forest has been impressive so far this season. However, their opponents have been rather weak and thus, Wake may be over-hyped at this stage. A closer look at their 3-0 shows the following about their opponents. Presbyterian has split its other 2 games including a 48-7 loss to the Citadel and a 28-16 win over non-scholarship Campbell. Thus, Presbyterian is comparable to Savannah St. Utah State has only won one FBS game in the past 12 months. Boston College was a respectable road win for Wake but a closer look at the stats shows Wake was +4 in the turnover margin while total yardage was even at approximately 300 yards per team. Wake Forest is well coached as I have much respect for Clawson and they have played very well defensively to date. It’s a tough matchup for App but a winnable one.
The Apps have certainly had problems on offense and especially on the O-line. Our ability to consistently move the ball on offense will be the biggest X factor in this game. I truly believe our defense will play very well.
I am confident this will be a tight game. I am hopeful regarding the result.

Have not seen this mentioned yet, so I ll throw it out. Elevation difference for Wake. How often have they played or practiced at over 3000 ft. Probably none. We are used to the thinner air. Wake isn't. Our guys train VERY hard. I do not know about Wake's S and C program. If it comes down to a game of endurance and fitness, I have to think we have an edge. This time tomorrow we shall know. Give em Hell Apps!

3,000 feet makes virtually no difference to the human body. Wake won't miss a beat at 3,333.appstate77 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 8:24 pmHave not seen this mentioned yet, so I ll throw it out. 31-21, App wins.
I thought way too hard about this one, especially considering injuries, until I remembered that no one cares who we pick on a message board. I have to go with the black and gold that matches my diploma.
(Metaphorically speaking. Pretty sure the gold on our diplomas is metallic. But you get what I'm saying here, Mountaineers.)
