Does anyone know who and where are we likely to play on Sept. 1 next year? I know the final schedule won't come out for awhile, but we should know who we are opening up with, right?

I am trying to decide whether to take a booking on that day or not and its a very borderline job so I want to see if it will kill me or not to be tied up that day.

is the announced Penn State 9-1-2018 game date questionable for some reason?

I could see it being moved to that Thursday night though (but I count that as also being labor day weekend)

There was some recent talk about it on the Sun Belt board. Also said there were some big announcements about future opponents coming soon. That's all I have. Wondered why nothing was ever mentioned here.

First I've heard of it (I don't frequent any Sun Belt boards).

FWIW, Wisconsin's schedule currently appears full for 2020, though it includes an FCS team on Sept. 19, so I guess it wouldn't be surprising if they were looking to buy that game out.

The buyout is possible given the Big 10, er 14"s elitest attitude toward FCS competition.
