Any places around Gastonia or Charlotte to watch the game this week? We are spending the weekend with my wife's aunt and she does not have internet :( I'm freaking out.

Always a complicated question to answer for me. '80 is when I should have graduated, but my records got screwed up somehow and they discovered I was one Humanities course shy of graduation requirements. I was getting married the week after graduation and moving to California so since it was their screw-up, they graciously allowed me to take a Lit course at Cal State Fullerton and transfer it back to App. So my degree says 1981, although I never set foot on campus in '81.

I don't think the piedmont chapter exist anymore. At least it doesn't seem like it

I believe the Charlotte Chapter always gathers at Angry Ales on Montford Dr.

In Raleigh we will be at Sammy's off Avent Ferry.

The viewing parties used to gather at Char Bar 7 and/or World of Beer in Greensboro, but so far I haven't heard anything.

No CLT spots listed on the Alumni site. For the Piedmont Triad folks, there is apparently a gathering at Fiddlin' Fish in Winston. There was a great crowd there for the PSU game. (Doesn't necessarily help you if you're in GSO or HP, but in case you feel like traveling.)

And it lists the Raleigh area gatherings as Compass Rose in Raleigh and Carolina Ale House in Cary, fwiw.
