I whole heartedly agree. Playing the herd in a bowl game would make this App fan's wishes come true as well.

I mentioned to my wife that the Cure Bowl was a "remote" possibility, but she had Disney packages already pulled up on her laptop last night. So...I hope we end up there because I have a feeling we're now going either way. My family loves Disney World, especially at Christmas.

Who would of thought a lowly lil mouse could rise from the garbage cans of the world and make something of himself. What a country.

Agree 100% Disney World is absolutely amazing and it all started with mouse cartoons.

8 and 6 year olds. Took them to Disney at 5 and 3, probably need to get back in the next 18 months.

Disneyworld is great the first 100 times. My wife makes us get annual passes. Disney Spring (Downtown Disney) is much improved.

LOL, you're right. I was trying to get my family to hold off for another Disney trip until the new Star Wars Land is open in 2019 but the Force is stronger with them so...I may falter.

Yes - we took our daughter twice once when she was about 5 and then about 8 --- We now have a granddaughter who is 5 - and really hope we will be able to go again with her - As an only child our daughter went on many trips with us - DisneyWorld was then and will always be #1 ---

Speaking of Disney World, in Dec of 2007 we were down there during the national championship game weekend. We had booked the trip so far in advance I wasn't even thinking about football yet, so poor planning on my part. At any rate, the day after the game we were at one of those character meals and I was proudly wearing my App St. gear and Minnie Mouse herself came straight over to me first and pointed to my App T-shirt and counted up to 3, 1 finger at a time, and then jumped up and down in celebration...so proof right there that Minnie is an App fan.
Also, we were standing in line for the Test Track ride and there was a guy in a Michigan T-shirt and we kind of noticed each other at the same time and locked eyes and I just kind of smiled and he says "go ahead, your team earned it," I wasn't too rough on him but he mainly just admitted that we had a great quarterback.
Lastly, we were on the mono-rail at the Magic Kingdom and a whole family, like 3 generations, of Delaware Blue Hens were in the same car. They saw my App T-shirt and referenced our NC game with them and the college-aged grandson goes, well you guys do have a great quarterback. Then the grandmother remarked in a snarky way, "I didn't like the way your fans came down on the field before the game was even over in the 4th quarter." I was like, "I don't know what you mean, that game was over in the 2nd quarter!"

While we are talking WDW, the folk song that HiHiYikas is based upon is among the usual set played by the band at the German dinner/show at EPCOT. They played it both times we have been - the second time, one of the guys in band acknowledged it as such when he saw one of our little ones dancing down front in an App State hat.

But don't they have the 4th pick?

I believe so but I think the conference will work with the bowls to get the best match-ups. Look no further than the 2016 Sun Belt co-champ playing in Orlando last December.

I believe the Cure Bowl has 7th pick with the AAC. Last year they sent #7 UCF who was 6-6 before losing to stAte.

AAC already bowl eligible:
UCF
USF
Memphis
Houston
SMU

Potential AAC opponent if they get enough eligible:

Navy 5-3 (3-3) SMU, ND, Houston & Army -- tough road but they'll probably get bowl eligible
Tulane 3-6 (1-4) ECU, Houston & SMU -- must win out, so doubtful
Temple 4-5 (2-3) Cincy, UCF & Tulsa -- needs 2 of 3, possible
Cincinnati 3-6 (1-4) Temple, ECU & UCONN -- needs 3 of 3, Temple will be the toughest opponent

Cure will likely have an excess CUSA team.
