People had a reason to be upset with the performance. However they had to realize we still had a shot.

App allotment... SOLD OUT.... Good luck trying to buy on GSU's Ticketmaster site... I saw nowhere to pick section/seat.

Made me so happy to see stAte go down. Their fans on message boards are complete @$$ holes.

Not sure how much things have changed but I went year before last and you just sat wherever you wanted.

Might be a little different this time. I just went on their site to buy my tickets and all they had available to buy were in the end zone.

Is he wrong though? Similar to our basketball team spanking a division III team, does that mean things have turned around? I know it comes across as a Debbie Downer type comment, but he does have a point.

We started this season with some big goals. We fell well short of them. A-State losing doesn’t change that. It does put a shared Sun Belt title back on the table as a consolation prize, and for that I am glad. Hope our guys can go grab it.

They're no longer in a 70,000 NFL stadium. The Stadium-Formerly-Known-As-Turner-Field is now just 24k seating, and I think they had a sellout or two already this year.

We're also beaten and banged up. We have 16 days to get healed up, refocused and a fire lit under our asses to finish out strong. A few hours ago, the best scenario for the season was a bowl bid. Now the conference championship is back into play so hopefully that is a nice shot in the arm.

Looking at the standings, all that stands in our way is a GSU team which eked out a win over Texas State (like us) and ULL which is having its own struggles. Troy and stAte still have to play with each other so one of those teams is guaranteed to have 2 losses. Meaning if we can knock off the Panthers and Cajuns, the worst we could do is share the title again.

I'd like to think a bunch of our guys watched the other games today and got a renewed sense of purpose and maybe seeing that they control their own destiny again will give them the motivation they need to finish up strong.

Forgot they had moved. Well for them a 24k sellout is great. Good for them.

I got to watch some of the Georgia State/Texas State game yesterday. Georgia State looked pretty good, but nothing we can't handle.

Coach Elliott will have his team ready to play. No question about that. It was fun watching his intensity. You can tell he has his team disciplined and focused. Oh yeah ... they play hard.

The game Thanksgiving weekend turns out will be for a share of the conference championship. This is what we play for.

I hope all our guys are healed up and ready to play.

Come on EastHall - the goals at the beginning of the season are totally irrelevant - we aren't going 12-0 and NY6 - we aren't going 11-1 and NY6 - What is always the #1 goal of any team is to be CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS - That goal is still there and within reach - You can look back all you want and downplay a shared conference title all you want and call it a consolation prize - but you know what --- they don't add an asterisk at the bottom of the Championship Trophy or the Championship Rings saying --- *Oh but you lost to UMass ---

It's been a struggle this season for several reasons, but we now have a shot at winning our 2nd conference title in 4 years. This is how you build an FBS program.

Yes and I did as well - and I also feel the WF loss took a lot out of them - but my point with East is that we are where we are - can't go back and change anything and it is so negative to say "sharing a SB title is a consolation prize" - that is total BS - and there is no way any objective/knowledgeable fan would call a conference championship a consolation prize
