I cannot make it up the mountain for the December 2nd game with ULL so my family and I are heading to Atlanta on Saturday to see another APP victory! I do hope that we have a good turnout for Saturday in Atlanta. I honestly think that it makes a difference to bring some noise for a road game like this. Let's turn Turner Field Black and Gold. A lot of us live here and will be there on game day. The Atlanta Appalachian Alumni Chapter has really grown and become more active in recent years. I was surprised at the number at last year's Alumni Christmas party as I hadn't attended an event in awhile. A lot of young energetic people who welcomed this old alumnus. Looking forward to Saturday. Great weather for the game. Should be fun.

It's only a few miles from my house so I will definitely be there. Also decided to attend the App sponsored tailgate instead of doing our own. Also talked the wife into heading up the mountain next weekend for the ULL game which will hopefully be for a Belt title!!

We'll be there! And I just posted this on another post but If you're planning to buy tixs and head to the game now is the time. GASt is offering $10 tickets via their Website using the code "FRIDAY". They aren't the greatest seats but they are in the general public/visiting team sections. And besides, it looks to be pretty easy to move around at the Ted. Two tickets and pre-paid parking, with all fees, for $39. Better than $25 + fees per ticket and $20 gameday parking. Hoping for a good traveling contingent for a HUGE game!

I talked my daughter into going with me. It was not a huge amount of arm-twisting. Leaving 7 am and coming back the same day after the game.
