Post Game Georgia St Thoughts?

Unread post by ncman071 » Sat Nov 25, 2017 5:49 pm

I thought we played well. We look much healthier than prior to the bye week. I am proud of these kids and coaches. It's been a tough season in terms of close wins and tough losses i.e. UMASS and ULM...However, these kids have stepped it up and can still win at least a share of the title next Saturday. That in itself is AWESOME. The fact is we are going bowling and can solidify a Sunbelt Championship next week.

IT'S GREAT TO BE A MOUNTAINEER!!

Started off slow... The second half was way better. Defense played lights out, and Moore is a beast!

The unsportsmanlike on Boggs was BS. A celebration after a sack not targeted at any opposing player.

Also, EJ Scott (finally healthy) is solid and Flory can flat out fly for his size. D did a good job shutting down hart.

Everybody knows I look at attendance pretty hard, but Geez, did Ga State install too many seats or is the ad min not promoting the game enough. Considering the record of these two teams, it looks like it would have been better attended. Sure wish I could have been there.

I was there. App fans were louder and about 50/50.

Best game we have played all year. Controlled the game from start to finish and put a knife in our opponent's back.

Echo JM comment. When healthy he’s one of the best in the game. Awesome W.

After today Jalin is over 800 yards for the year. That is incredible with how little he has been healthy.

Very proud of the players and coaches. Stepped up today in a big way. Let's turn out big for Senior Day next week. Back to Back Co-Conference championships and 3 consecutive bowl appearances is not too shabby. GO APP!

The OL had a good day today opening some good holes for Jalin and when they weren't there, he made his own path. He is fun to watch when he gets it going.

Probably the most consistent game App has played this season. Except for the 2 picks the Apps did pretty much what they wanted to. I think App's OL and Moore/Williams just beat the Panthers down in the second half. Defense went in shut down mode in the second half as well. It was great to see a healthy Stringer jumping around and smacking ball carriers and bringing energy to the team.

Never really saw a good shot of the gast stands. What percent of the fans would you say were APPS?

Really nice adjustments at half time made on OL.

Slow start to the point of frustration for me. Even 11 had to get wound up. I don't think we were trying to manage the clock at end of half. I'm not sure what that is but it's a strategy I don't get. Great to see Moore at full steam. Very happy to see Stringer back. Very good 2nd half. Congratulations to these Mountaineers.

Richie Willams was there and Coach Moore. Take that Charlie.😊

Stringer is going to be the most difficult piece to replace next year.

We’ve got about eight key guys to replace next year, it’ll be Satts toughest year since 2014.

Yes, but he will be the toughest of them all. You saw how much he was missed against ULM. Best open field tackler that we have.
