Re: Poll: Bowl Game
Ideally I'd like to make it to any bowl we play in. Buying tickets for them either way. NOLA or Orlando are my preferences. With Orlando just barely edging out Montgomery. I don't think Orlando will provide much of a Bowl atmosphere compared to what we've seen in Montgomery and what we could see in NOLA. I had no trouble finding App fans prior to LSU in the French Quarter.

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
NOLA would be my only option to make, but probably won't make any due to time and money constraints.

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
Had several unexpected expenses pop up in the last several weeks so any discretionary funds I had for a bowl trip are pretty much dried up. I do plan to at least purchase a ticket to help the program. I reached out to DG on twitter to see if App has partnered with any local non-profits in the Orlando/NOLA area where fans could donate a ticket. He responded and said he would try to get something set up.
I would suggest any and all App fans who cannot make it to the bowl game to help support the program and contribute their ticket to the non-profit DG partners with.

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
I will likely attend any bowl the Apps play in. That said my preference would be the Cure in Orlando, then NOLA, then Mobile, then Montgomery, then AZ. I would prefer to play someone from the AAC or CUSA as opposed to the MAC for the 3rd straight year as well.
Just hope to be Bowling as the Sun Belt Co-Champion!!

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
if the game is on the 16th, the only one I might be able to make is the New Orleans bowl, due to me temporarily working in Louisiana for the next couple of weeks. I might be able to make the AZ bowl but we'll see.

I will make NOLA or Montgomery. Montgomery because it is drivable and NOLA because it is N.O. Would love to see the APPS in the Super Dome! An 80K capacity stadium would swallow us is my only concern. Cramton is about the right size for the number of fans we traveled and looked and sounded good on TV.

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
I will be wherever our Apps play! But I fear a very low turnout for Mobile due to the 23rd. But Mobile is a fun town with some great food and bars. And the Eastern Shore area around Fairhope, Daphne, is a great place as well

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
Surprised more people would go to Arizona vs. Mobile. That 23rd date must be a deal breaker for most.

Of course, one would expect a place like Daphne to be stellar ...

All kidding aside, the Daphne / Fairhope area is a great place to visit or to live.

Me too. There is a restaurant in Mobile on the causeway that is worth the 20 hr drive down and back. I am not kidding. Felix’s.bh2oson wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 3:23 pmSurprised more people would go to Arizona vs. Mobile. That 23rd date must be a deal breaker for most.

Re: Poll: Bowl Game
Both of my kids and their spouses are coming home for Christmas, one for Colorado, the other from New York State. I'll be AWOL for a Dec 23rd bowl game.
Count me in for any other.
