GaTech interested in Woody
Georgia Tech just lost its DC Ted Roof to NC State, a move celebrated by GT fans.
Now Football Scoop, who is pretty spot on, is saying PJ3 is looking at Nate Woody.
Damnit.

Re: GaTech interested in Woody
He was courted by Mississippi State last year. Just because there is interest does not mean Woody will bite.

Re: GaTech interested in Woody
Hope he stays. If he goes, wonder if Sloan would turn the moving truck around? Don’t like hearing this less than 24 hrs before our bowl game. Need to stay focused on the task at hand, get the win and then deal with this after tomorrow.

Re: GaTech interested in Woody
We should be honored that GT wants one of our coaches.
In fact, if we're winning championships and going to bowls, great P5 teams should want to offer all our coaches boatloads of money to jump ship....
But GT. They are and will probably stay a "middle of the road" ACC team. They were only 5-6 and did not qualify for a bowl.
I suggest that Mr. Woody hold out until Clemson or somebody like that comes calling.
GO APPS tomorrow night!!!!

At his age a contract doubling or tripling his money would be hard to turn down.

Don’t go Woody. PJ won’t be there much longer. The future is here.....
