The Rockets are good! This will be a tough matchup. Maybe Coach Candle will land a new gig.

Yeah, Toledo has looked pretty good this year. That's just the eye and score test. I'm sure we'll start getting stat breakdowns soon.

One positive is that the Apps should have plenty of time to get everyone healed up as can be and ready to go over the next few weeks.

Yup, and I'm much more worried about this than I am location.

Toledo fans on the MAC board are really displeased with this game. They'd rather be playing a P5 team, and not some lowly 8 win Sun Belt team. Nevermind last year's loss.

Not that App needs any bulletin board material from another fan base, but they're providing some.

Good offense with inflated statistics against questionable opposition. We will need to control the clock with the ground game and keep Woodside on the side lines.

Threw for over 300 yard and 3 TDs against The U, none of which were in junk time. They also had the lead at half. That's solid. Woodside has the potential to eat us up, but I still like Duck and Company to lock down their WRs. Of all potential bowl games, we are fortunate to land this one. ESPN on a Saturday night against a good team. Time to shine!

Pay no attention to the hand-wringing from Rockets fans. We go through this seemingly every year at this time..."better conference", "better bowl", "better opponent". I for one am excited for the rematch.

As for inflated stats? Um no.....this is a legitimately high octane offense with talent, especially on the outside, that many P5 teams would love to have. Question marks at G C G due to injuries, but solid at the Tackle spots. The fans and staff at The U have said Woodside is the best QB they've faced all year...

Defense is a bit sketchy, but seems to have stabilized recently. No question your running game will present challenges for us.

Excellent point but that is before Miami hit its stride. They are averaging 39 points a game but only 22 against any opponent with a winning record not named Akron.

Tough game. Expect we’ll be a slight underdog (maybe 4.5 or so), but if we play like we have been we should have a shot.

I have not and won't be visiting their board as playing Toledo again somewhere else in Alabama does not move my needle. I can understand if they feel they same way about us, but there's a way to keep things classy. Shame on either fan base that can't.
