Good to be the dog. Course, I can pretty much guarantee you, given last year, Toledo won't be so easily boastful. They have a chip on their shoulder about us! Let's go give them 2.

Okay, so Sagarin has us as almost 8 point underdog, Massey has us as a 9 point underdog, and ESPN says we are an 8 point underdog. Toledo is pretty disappointed in having to play an inferior opponent...

Plenty to prove for us.... God I hope we show up and give them all they want and more.

They can say what they want. They whined last year and we beat them. Their bowl tie ins are what they are. It's a conference champ. It's not like we are a 6-6 team with 2 fcs wins.

One of their writers thinks we are #2 from SunBelt and not deserving of playing against the Rockettes (sic intentionally).

I understand us being listed as underdogs, but I'm watching this Bowl Mania show on ESPN and this fool picking games by using confidence points for all 40 games has given 31 confidence points to Toledo winning, but only 11 to Western Kentucky against Ga State. No way can I see 31 in our game for either team.

Be patient, These "forecasters" don't know what we know. They are looking over records and a few stats. They don't know that we are the healthiest we've been all season during the last three games and into bowl season. This is a similar Toledo team (to last year) we will slow their running game down much like Ohio did (maybe not to 53 yds) but slow it down enough to make them one dimensional. With Stringer back to 100% roaming the middle of the field, their short passing game will sputter. Never mind the fact that Toledos OL has given up 18 sacks...... we will put constant pressure on Woodside. Conversely, They won't put much pressure on Taylor. This is a VERY winnable game.

That "fool" lives in North Carolina and called our Miami game last year. He may be wrong and giving Toledo too much credit but its not like he doesn't know us.

To build off this point. These guys don’t pay attention to G5 football like they do the P5s.

Side note. Troy was my most confident win in my bracket.

I just don't want to go thru the angst of getting behind like we did against Ohio.

Based upon this year, I would bet on being down by 10 at some point in the game.

At the beginning of the year I would have agreed. App has been a second half team this year though.

Come Saturday at 7:00 EST, the lines and numbers won't matter. Just who wants it more.

80% chance of rain. Me thinks running will be at a premium. Toledo meet Mr. Moore.

Keep in mind that Toledo averages 220 yards a game on the ground. It's not like they are one dimensional.

Hi hapapp, I know the goal is to make them one dimensional by slowing down their run game..... which we will do. Merry Christmas big fella.

Toledo had Jalin shut down last year. If I remember correctly Taylor and Marcus had nice days on the ground.
