There are only 80 teams on the list. We're the only SB team. I didn't notice any MAC teams.

I don’t like Appy either. I also am not a fan of App State. It looks weird to abbreviate the first name and spell out the second.

My take on nicknames and abbreviations is that only those that are relevant and being talked about get them. Don’t think that Bama and Dawgs offends anyone.

Wake Forest is at 100:1 And we are 9999:1. I think there is something smelly here.

Wake Forest is in a Power 5 conference...we aren't. Thus, the Deacons have a path...and we don't. As such, 9999:1 odds are about as good as it's going to get in reality. See, UCF.

Worse. Being a Happy Appy isn't that bad, but what in hades is a neer? Just sounds stupid and lazy to me.

Apps strength of schedule will always be an issue as far as ranking and playoff possibilities go. Why else would a Kansas team be a better bet than App. Nice to at least get a mention.

As far as odds to make the playoff, every single P5 team should be ahead of us.
All any P5 team needs to do is to run the table (13-0) and they're in.
We (or any G5) would need to run the table (13-0), have multiple quality OOC wins (read multiple ranked P5 wins) and hope for mass chaos among the top P5 teams (i.e. not enough P5 teams with less than 3 losses available to fill all four playoff slots ).
