Well written summary of Lamb's accomplishments. Hope to see him coaching with the Apps sometime down the road.

And to think of the times that some wanted him on the bench even late into his J.r and early his Sr. season............ Not as electric as Armanti but TL was something to behold.

When you read all of those accomplishments, during a transition from FCS to FBS no less, it is hard to argue that he isn't one of best to wear the black and gold. I honestly don't know if AE could have done what TL did against the same level of competition. Before everyone jumps on me, I am not suggesting that TL was better than AE. I am just saying that he put up very good numbers against significantly better quality of opponents and remained injury free while doing so.

Is it just me, or does that article allude that we've won 3 Sun Belt titles?

Just for fun...TL or Richie? I'm pretty sure this has been asked a few times, but oh well...

I see both as pretty similar skill sets, accurate but not a huge arm, mobility, but not breakaway speed, and most importantly heady game managers. Richie winning a National Championship on the bummest of ankles is a Top 10 memories from the last 20 years.

Both are All-time App legends, but if you were down 5 (not 6 because we'd miss the XP) with 2 minutes left, who do you send in?

It's a theoretical question that I am sure other schools would like to have. I'd lean toward TL. The numbers being similar but the competition level being different.

I don't think I could make a choice between TL and RW. I think both were outstanding on and off the field and I am a huge fan of both. TL had a stronger / deeper supporting cast supporting his transition, so the comparison is hard to make. I don't think RW had the benefit of a redshirt year so his first year starting was a little rough, but he was the QB who led our transition to the spread so both were transitional QBs.

For me these comparisons are fun but thinking too deep about them is fruitless. If you have to put them in order on a list, flip a coin. I would probably lean towards TL but tomorrow I might see it differently.

I would put Lamb as our #2 QB, but I think if Richie had spent 4 years in the spread offense, he would be #2.
