With the 6 home games, the big draw at Penn State, Charlotte, and two drive-able "destinations" in Myrtle and Savannah this could be a great season for some to make it to 10 games.

I'm certainly planning on it.

Week night games,if we must play them, should only be scheduled after both teams bye. Players need time to heal up.

As long as the league doesn't go the MAC route I'm fine with it. That league has sold itself to minimal TV exposure and zero fans.

The MAC never had any fans, but yeah they sure haven't helped with their Tuesday night showcase. Thursday > Tuesday.

Its not just playing on Tuesday. It's a problem that their marquee teams play the last month of the year during the week.

Setting up the possible de facto division championship game vs. Troy.

I actually like that we're playing stAte on a Tuesday rather than a Thursday. It means no short week before or after, plus a lot less TV competition.

Not to mention the week before the three straight home games is @UNCC, which presumably will draw a lot of our alumni.

But I agree, overall I like it.

Oct. 20 is going to be a hotel nightmare with Woolly Worm and Valle Country Fair. Book now, worry about the credit card later.

I like having the toughest two home games at the end of the season when the Mountain weather makes an impact on our Deep South opponents. Plus, it's less likely to be in conflict with the Panthers' home slate (I type selfishly as a Yosef Club member AND PSL owner).

Dodging week day games entirely is really unexpected and awesome for attendance averages.

Troy, our biggest challenger for control of the east, is the week before the title game which sets up a de facto playoff for the championship. I LOVE this new format already.

My only complaint is the Stink game landing in the middle of the season and after a game week rather than a bye. The Sun Belt should showcase its premier rivalry on rivalry weekend, or at least toward the end of the season, and an emotional game on the road after a short week will be difficult. Those circumstances could create an equalizer for a vastly inferior Stink team and it makes me nervous given our win streak and their recent coaching acquisition.

Overall I love the schedule!

4 out 6 right, but they appear to have cheated us out of one game, I thought it was 2 Tuesday and 5 Thursday games.

Love that we don't have any home weeknight games but, the 3 home games in a row will take it's toll on many. Also, the Nov 24th game is the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, which has historically been a low-attended game, but it's awesome that it'll be against Troy and possibly determine who plays in the championship game so that should help attendance. Overall I like the schedule although I have travel conflicts with the Louisiana game which is a bummer...how close are we to the season starting countdown!! I'm ready!!

Great schedule! October's a little sparse, but I can't complain about September or November.

I like the Troy game being on the Thanksgiving weekend (rivalry weekend). I see them as our biggest threat in the East and would like to see this develop into a big rivalry worthy of recognition. I know this is usually a date that has low attendance, but if it turns out to be for the eastern title and a shot at the conference championship game than I expect the Rock will be packed.
