Not many seniors. My hurt us a little this year but puts us in a real good spot on experience going into next year. On the other hand not many freshmen either. Will be an interesting season. GO APP!

I think the move of Austin Exford to OLB is going to be a good one. I could see him starting by game 4.

Good mix of experience and youth. Ill be looking for the next Duck or Armanti to step up and make a name.

Holy sophomore class, impressive so many of them of the two deep. We may take a step back this year (I may be completely wrong here), but the future is so bright!

Our athleticism improves by the year. Grasp the mental aspects and it’s off to the races.

I think with that 2-deep we should be looking at 8 plus wins

Prior to fall camp the 2 deep generally reflects the Spring practice, so incoming freshman aren't generally listed. I don't know who we might have in terms of impact freshmen and I'm sure we will try to red-shirt many of them if possible.

I'm hoping the OL sizes are low ball numbers. Pretty consistently in the 280's. Anybody know if some of these guys are actually a bit bigger by now? App has always been known to keep older weights on the lists.

On the subject is size / weight, looks like we consistently lose quite a bit of size when we sub at the LB positions.

I'm excited about this year. It is going to be interesting to see how some of these guys develop.

I fully expect the Kansas State transfers, both Sutton and Heath, to be real threats in the passing and return game this season. I am super excited about the offensive talent we will be putting on the field this season.

Will this be the first season since moving up that we will have no members of an FCS recruiting class on the field?

What really sticks out to me, if this doesn't change during fall practice, is that the entire starting offense (minus Jalin) will be back for 2019.

The D loses 4 starters after this season. Hopefully Ivey can get great production out of D. Taylor and M. Clark so that the 2019 D line can plug and play without skipping a beat.

Frankly, I think next year is the year we should have expectations. I'm cautiously optimistic about this year but this is likely the youngest squad we have fielded in some time. It could be a relatively slow start with a very inexperienced QB. It helps that there is a lot of talent surrounding him.

I agree with hapapp that this year we should be cautiously optimistic. It is flattering that we are getting rated pretty high and many are predicting an SBC championship, but this is by far the most turnover we have had in our starting line-up in a very long time! This year will be a testament to our recruiting and development.
