Why? Not sure if this has been covered in another thread. Is it some kind of construction?DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 11:54 amThe north end zone bleachers will not be in place this year.

Yes, the pre-demolition work for Owens will involve part of the end zone as I understand it.canes_mj wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 12:19 pmWhy? Not sure if this has been covered in another thread. Also 38 years in same seats in 205 ( although I think the Section May have been renumbered at some point) but I’m too old to remember for sure.

3rd season with Tickets in 211. However, a buddy of mine is tight with guy who has tickets in 1st 3 rows of 111 ... So I'm usually talking trash right in the ear of the visiting team.

OK. I will sit in your empty seats, lazy YC moneybags.

Yosef Club Donors
Thanks for not including me in your "lazy YC moneybags" derogatory swipe.NoLongerLurking wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 10:24 pmThis is not directed toward you, Daphne.
OK. I will sit in your empty seats, lazy YC moneybags.
I'm not sure how it is that your perception of YC members who give $500 per year ($41.67 per month) to be able to sit in the middle sections of the stadium translates into either "lazy" or "moneybags". The majority of YC donors are between $10 and $1,000 ($83.33 per month) each year.
As is the case in every year I've volunteered with the Yosef Club, the $100 - $500 donors are every bit as important as the $5,000 - $10,000 donors. In fact, every Yosef Club Advisory Board meeting I've attended in the last 12 years of service contains discussions about how we can engage potential faithful donors whose annual gifts are in the $100 - $500 range.
Somewhere along the line, you and others like you either were given or decided upon the perception that those $100 gifts were not welcome. I've spent 12 years as a volunteer working with Yosef staff and other volunteers to engage as many donors and potential donors as possible. There's an old saying that "no single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood". In that same manner, 1,000 additional donors at the $100 level ($8.33 per month) would fund $100,000 each year. That's significant in anyone's book. Imagine the difference that would be made if 10% of Appalachian alumni all donated $100 per year ... $100 times roughly 13,000 is $1,300,000. We'd have a "flood" in no time at all from those vital donations and free up resources for facility upgrades, coaching salaries, travel, additional scholarships ... you get the picture.
@NoLongerLurking, I implore you to rethink how you see those Yosef donors who have chosen to donate the cost of a meal ($8.33 - $41.67) each month to support our student-athletes. Also, please consider this my personal invitation to you to join the Yosef Club at any level. Here's the link Yosef Club Donations.

Season ticket holder for many years, but in Section 214, Row A since the East side deck was built. 4 for my family and 3 for a friend. Do not get to as many games as I used to because of one son playing "futbol" and the other racing a go kart, but still purchase season tickets each year.

There is conflicting info but the Band will be in Section 113 and/or 114. 113 per email from Band leadership or 114 per KBS graphic.appstate24 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 12:03 pmHave they determined where the band will be placed? GO APPS!!
