Ha, I forgot about that.

A little context to that, two years prior we went 11-1 with our only loss being at Michigan. We thought we had the game won after the clock hit zero, but Lloyd Carr successfully lobbied the refs to add a second to the clock. The next play, Chad Henne threw a TD pass to beat us. We weren’t over the loss yet when you beat them.

Another side note, Chad Henne’s family are big PSU fans. My father was friend’s with his and they even went to a few games together.

From my research, I saw that visiting fans usually go to lots 11 and 26. Is that correct?

Tell me your favorite moonshine flavor and I will purchase some to share pregame.
We are not really big on moonshine up here as we are more geared towards beer. Yuengling is the local beer of choice across PA, but we just call it Lager.
If you're a beer fan though, Yuengling is a pretty meager beer. Plenty of better breweries in PA, and even in State College.
Ill be putting some AMB cans in the recycling bins at State College.....I am a beer snob and there ain’t much better. Having said that I remember the cases of Esquire and Iron City a couple of native PA athletes brought back to Boone after break in the 70’s
Iron City is big in western PA. I’m not a fan of it at all.c
As a usually broke freshman at App in the early 60s, my friends and I survived on Iron City spirited onto campus by our PA athlete friends. It was OK after the first four or so, but pretty nasty overall. It's only pros were that it was the official beer of the P'burg Pirates and it was only 20 cents a can. Then, along came Old Milwaukee and Colt 45--giving us penniless guys several cheap, but bad options. Today, I have PA friends who swear by Yuengling. Thank goodness for Rolling Rock and "real" craft beers.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

I still get chills every single time I watch this. Hearing that fan base chant A-S-U instead of something like "Screw Big Blue" (as drunk students are sometimes wont to do) was incredible.

They are scattered throughout. If you get a yellow parking pass, you can park in any of the yellow lots. The ones located next to the RV lot are good. 26, 23 and 24 can be hilly so tailgating is a bit harder in them.

BTW, those kids were watching the game on one of the crappy 20 inch standard def TVs that they had in the concourse, lol.

We can deal with hills. We walk up one to our home stadium six-ish times a year. Sometimes we're aware when we do it.

Is there a # for the RV lot? I'm supposed to meet and tailgate with a client that brings an RV to every PSU home game. Thanks!

It's the one labeled RV on the map that TDog linked.

If you are driving on Park Ave coming off the highway (322) just look to the right just before you get to the stadium and you will see a massive gathering of RVs. You can’t miss it

From 1:19 to 1:35 they do the ASU chant. The A is hard to hear but it is there. The S and U are much clearer.

We just lost our starting SDE today to retirement. He had a messed up back that he just couldn’t deal with anymore. He was one of our vets on defense, so it will be interesting to see who steps up.

The purple lot is good as it's a reserved spot. But it can be a bear to get out of after the game.

That’s a good plan. The game should end around 7, and I wouldn’t plan to leave until 9 at the earliest.
