Any news on when season ticket packages/Penn State tickets will ship?

I loved the "nifty" ticket book but I do wonder the cost. I don't need it fancy and wonder if that, in anyway, makes someone want to buy or keep their season tickets-- I doubt it.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 3:21 pmAll away game tickets should come separately. The season ticket packets / parking passes are processed by a third party vendor from information Yosef provides them. That's how we get the nifty ticket book.
Away game allocations are processed through our ticket office (or away team if you don't buy through App). Sometimes those away tickets don't come in until much later in the season.
I don't believe it's the reason they buy the season tickets, but I know many people who keep their season tickets from App and all kinds of sports teams. It's something tangible that they can hang on to and remember the experience. Because it's a bit nicer/fancy, makes people want to keep things like that more.YesAppCan wrote: ↑Thu Aug 09, 2018 8:02 amI loved the "nifty" ticket book but I do wonder the cost. I doubt the cost is significantly different from the manual manner in which tickets were packed in years gone by. Sure, the cost of the ticket book with attached parking passes for those who receive them may be a bit higher than individual tickets plus parking passes. What isn't factored into that narrow view of the process is how much personnel time went into the packing process. We would have someone from the ticket office, two or three Yosef staff, the athletic department interns, and 8-10 volunteers working two full days to get things packed properly. The volunteers were "free" ... except the sandwich lunch each day. The staff were paid. All in all, I'd be surprised if the total cost now is substantially different.GregPercussion wrote: ↑Thu Aug 09, 2018 8:26 amI don't believe it's the reason they buy the season tickets, but I know many people who keep their season tickets from App and all kinds of sports teams. Only info I was given from them was "August". So I assume any day now.MDaniels84 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 1:16 pmbump
Any word on when the powers that be are mailing out season ticket packages?
