The FBI would do better to investigate Franklin and the rest of the frauds who schedule up undermanned and outclassed schools like Appalachian State (Where did they find this one at??), just so they can pad up their Power Rank stats. The lowest form of sportsmanship. I will be rooting on A-State to kick the everloving rear ends of PSU all up and down the field.
Here is the link to the fall sports streaming schedule.

It's 2018 and you'd have to be woefully uninformed about sports to not be familiar with Appalachian State as a prolific, successful FBS program.

Re: Penn St prediction
Maybe Penn State will be overlooking us and focusing their efforts on the Pitt game the following week and we can make it interesting. I'm not sure if we can take them, I'd feel more confident if we had Taylor, but I know nothing about our QB (have we even named one yet? I've taken a sabbatical from here for a few months and somewhat out of the loop)
Penn State seems to respect us which is nice. And I'm glad all of the P5 opponents view us as one of the biggest threats out of the G5 these days...its a good moniker to have. I just really would like another big win so all the pundits would quit going back to the Michigan well for notable achievements.

Re: Penn St prediction
Penn State fans realize that App State might be the best OOC opponent PSU has this year. It may not show early in the season as App State settles into a new QB and Pitt always seems to play PSU tough. But by season's end, I'd pick App State to beat Pitt.

Zac Thomas was named and is the apparent starter, but there have been tidbits from camp and coach speak that have put a little doubt into that.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 11:21 am... but I know nothing about our QB (have we even named one yet? Besides AE, what other QBs have won the starting spot after the first game of the year for App? We do have a history of this at some level.

Who did Taylor replace? I was thinking he started game one after his red shirt year
