Penn State ticket allotment

Unread post by DontPlayWithYosef » Wed Aug 22, 2018 5:13 pm

How many tickets for next Saturday did we receive/sell? I'm sure and hope they'll be more black & gold in the stadium than just our couple of sections. GO APP!

I'm just hoping ours get here in time. Anyone else still waiting on their Penn State tickets?

Still don’t have mine. I do live in South Carolina but we do have mail service here! I may have to call the ticket office as we are leaving on Tuesday.

Two years ago my Tennessee tickets didnt arrive in my mailbox in Nashville until 2 days prior to kickoff. It's a problem many schools are running into and its infuriating at times.

If I recall correctly, PSU allocates 2-3k tickets for visitors.

I think you are correct.

I know many App fans are buying Penn State tickets outside of App.
I will be wearing App shirt with Eagles hat in the middle of Penn State home side.

Wish me luck.....lol

I'm not really surprised that we haven't sold our allotment.

A de facto home game in Concord and then three straight at The Rock is a lot of weekend traveling for the fans that live off the mountain. I can see how adding an 8 hour drive to Pennsylvania on the front end of that would be hard for some.

Allotment was 3,000 consignment plus 300 complimentary. There were still a few left at the App ticket office this morning.

They would go a lot faster if they didn't have all the strings attached re: Yosef Club requirements/ season ticket purchases, etc. Just sell 'em to the first 3 thou who send the grub. That would stop all the Stub Hub, etc crap.

The ticket prices for the secondary market are very high this year for Penn State. $35 is the lowest price. Back when we were on sanctions, I got tickets to the Nebraska game for $6.

Prices should come down a couple of hours before kickoff, but I don’t think it will be by much. Demand is extremely high.
