How much power/influence does a coaching staff have in "getting a team up" for a game? Leadership among players counts for just as much. And you can't start "getting up" for the game on Thursday. Way too late. Sometimes, the team just ain't going to be on edge, as we wish they were every game. If we are not up, it could be fairly close. Hopefully, the talent difference will be enough. ASU is their Michigan. scat, I remember CCU last year. Whew! And El Cid whipping us 5-6 years ago. These were games where you sit in the stands and keep thinking, "When are we going to engage?" You never know when dealing with young people. Sometimes, they surprise you to no end (Penn State, Michigan) and other times they disappoint to no end. I hope our talent and tradition and expectations come through big time so there will be doubt of dominance when the game is over.
