Actually surprised I haven’t seen this posted anywhere:
UNCC sold beer inside the stadium! It was actually well done with designated areas. I noticed these areas were mostly full of App fans...... Can’t help but wonder about beer in Kidd Brewer.
We need to make this happen!!!!

Re: Beer
There will be a biergarten in the Broyhill plaza by The Rock this year pre-game.

Re: Beer
UNC——C fans need something stronger than beer.

Re: Beer
I think the new improvement for pregame is good, but still think inside the stadium is compelling for a few reasons:
1) Markups and revenues - Outside will be hard to justify a 6,7,8 dollar beer when most folks come with coolers full, but would be willing to pay those prices inside
2) Butts in the stadium - It was nice to enter the stadium early and watch warmups while drinking a beer inside the stadium. I mean part of the reason people always wait until the last minute is that last drink. And also applies to folks leaving at halftime etc.
3) The way it was done @ UNCC, folks were carded and had to stand in a designated area. Different approach than just broad distribution in all concession areas, which people have concerns with.

Re: Beer
I'm guessing this is a prelude to actually having a beer garden inside the stadium unless there is some avenue to enter this location from inside the stadium. While I would patronize and enjoy a cold beer at halftime, I would not be one to leave my tailgate just to have one pre-game.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Sun Sep 09, 2018 11:29 amThere will be a biergarten in the Broyhill plaza by The Rock this year pre-game.

Re: Beer
It would be nice if they include a terrace overlooking the field with the new end zone construction where they can have a beer garden inside the stadium.
