Really questionable decision. Should have moved game up and played. No weather will be in Boone until Sunday at earliest.

As disappointing as it feels, it is the right move. A decision has to be made before Southern Miss starts to travel. The good news is that it looks like they are still trying to get it re-scheduled. I'm guessing the option mentioned previously of 10/6 with a re-scheduled Arkansas State game will be our best bet.

Sort of surprised. Last Ray’s Weather I saw sounded like Boone may not get wet until Sunday. Florence must keep changing her mind.

Was playing in Hattiesburg not an option? I'd rather give up a home game than drop a game entirely or try to squeeze one in during the critical conference portion of our season.

There isn't an open date for us to play.

We were not going to play in Hattiesburg due to travel costs.

Southern Miss couldn't sell enough tickets to an extra game to cover our travel? Just surprises me unless there's some re-shuffling of other games that is what admin is planning on.

Remember it's not just the weather at the game site. It's also the availability of resources (security, medical, emergency), too. Surely many of those will be on standby for the eastern part of the state.

This I imagine has as much to do with the cancellation as anything. It's not simply game day weather in Boone.
