NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
I was told this weekend that Food Services has decided to take ice out of the stadium and there will be NO STADIUM CUPS! They have done this once before and the masses demanded OUR stadium cups. It’s great they are improving the GAMEDAY food experience but a BAD decision to take the cups and ice out of our GAMEDAY experience!

Re: NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
I can handle the drenching rain, but for the love of god give me a 32oz cup full of ice with my $4 soda.
Can anyone confirm this rumor?

Nope, I heard it too Saturday! That doesn't make it true but there seems to be something to it.appchicago wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 6:00 pmHm. Joined yesterday. One post. Obvious troll is obvious.

Re: NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
*sigh*. I’d trade the cups to be able to go back on the field with my son after each game

I had to create a new account, not new to Yosef Cabin. I was told by an employee of ASU Food Services at the UNCC game. Said the Director of Food Services made the decision.

Re: NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
Biggest problem with me is no ice. On a hot gameday in the sun ice is needed. The souvenir cups are nice, but I can get over losing them. If there's that much of an issue serving them at the regular concession stands, why not have kiosks that only offer cups with ice for $2-3?

Interesting you mention the UNCC game. I was very impressed with their concession situation there. I liked the souvenier Battle of the Beards cups (WITH ICE) and the fact they had free refills. They had plenty of stands open and a nice variety of offerings. Our food services director could learn a few things from them.

The food offerings at UNCC was more like a pro sports team concession stand. They had baskets and real food. Ours resembles a high school. Plain hotdogs and nachos.

Re: NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
I saw some videos going around on Facebook from concessions about how their revamping some of their servings with a brisket sandwich and such. So I think they're trying new things at least.ASUchipman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 9:41 amThe food offerings at UNCC was more like a pro sports team concession stand. They had baskets and real food. I'm not trading Woodlands BBQ and Farmers Pies for what they served at UNCC.ASUchipman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 9:41 amThe food offerings at UNCC was more like a pro sports team concession stand. They had baskets and real food. Ours resembles a high school. Plain hotdogs and nachos.

Re: NO SOUVENIR CUPS & ICE
I believe UNCC contracts out there concessions instead of using volunteer groups to man them like we do.ASUchipman wrote: ↑Wed Sep 12, 2018 9:41 amThe food offerings at UNCC was more like a pro sports team concession stand.
