Re: Yosef Donor Packages
Starting to wonder if the stadium cup vendor is the same as the one who was contracted to do the Yosef goodies and A/D gift

Sustainability is replacing items with recycled or environmentally friendly subs...not eliminating them.

Re: Yosef Donor Packages
The obvious way to prevent this problem from happening in the future, would be to move everything up a few weeks. Tickets, packets, etc, being shipped mid August obviously gives little room for error. Hopefully the YC will aim to get stuff out early August moving forward. That way if issues outside the YC happen again, there will be time to recover. That being said, this is the first time i've seen this happen in the past 12 years. I appreciate what the people behind the YC do, but there is always room for improvement.

At least they did say "we apologize for the delay"
For those of you wanting an apology, anyway.

Re: Yosef Donor Packages
Moving tickets / parking "up a few weeks" was not an option in 2018. Yosef didn't know which Stadium Lot spaces they were losing for sure until close to the first week of August. It wasn't until the contractors finally determined exactly where the construction fence would be that Yosef was able to move folks from the spaces that were lost to other spaces in the lot. That meant that the parking portion of the data file could not be sent until after that. Yosef was doing everything humanly possible to keep all the displaced folks in the Stadium Lot without moving anyone other than the folks whose spots were lost to the construction.yosef13 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 25, 2018 3:42 pmThe obvious way to prevent this problem from happening in the future, would be to move everything up a few weeks. For 2019, we'll all want to wrap ourselves in patience from the start. The entire Stadium Lot will be gone. There's no way of knowing what parking will be available in 2019. Will the new deck be complete? Will any of the smaller lots be available? Who knows? That means nearly 600 Stadium Lot spots will have to be moved. I'd imagine those Stadium Lot donors (minimum $2,500) won't be moved to festival parking at State Farm without any other donors changing spots.
I had the pleasure for many years of being part of ticket / parking pass / goodies packing. I'm thankful we now have outside vendors handling that. We've outgrown a handful of volunteers sorting and packing. That's a good thing. What we all need to realize is that growth, while generally a good thing, isn't always easy. 2019 will be a great time to "audit" our parking allocations - check to see that folks with parking have purchased at least one season ticket (on their own, not through someone else), check to see that the minimum donation required for a particular lot is actually being paid by the person getting the pass, etc. For example, the folks who park beside me are in the Circle of Excellence which requires a Yosef commitment substantially higher than the Yosef Circle level donation I make each year. If parking is allocated based on giving and is allocated amongst smaller lots, I'll be tailgating next to donors who are Yosef Circle donors. I'm looking forward to meeting new App family through this process.
In the meantime, #BeatUSA!

The outside vendor is in Florida. That uphill shipping is tough!

Re: Yosef Donor Packages
I just received an Appalachian scarf in the mail with a thank you from the Yosef club. No decals, nothing else. If that is the A/D gift and goodies, definitely a reduced package from previous years.

Got the scarf, clearly the best gift yet! Sticker license plate and card all there. Still think the plate needs some work.

Re: Yosef Donor Packages
For an ascot I would up my donation, but a scarf, I am not so sure.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.
