Off topic a bit but I just want to mention how much I love the block A on the hill.

Its beyond stupid, it goes against the whole movement of "Attention to Detail". There is NO improvement in game day atmosphere, no positive from a fan's perspective. This needs rethinking... NOW!

By the way, I checked... If one orders 10,000 cups or more, you can have a 22 oz stadium cup with 2-sided logo for about 30-32¢... Probably cheaper. I did very little research. There is NO WAY, on a hot day, that they have a snowball's chance in hell of keeping that many drinks cold. The ONLY way to quick-cool them would be to put them in, gulp, ice then serve. How ironic would that be?

If they were thinking about doing away with cups/ice, I wonder why they didn't ask about this in the fan survey they sent out after last season.

My guess is they already knew what the answer would be and they just don't care.

They better care! Big mistake if they don't! An App logo cup is marketing in its simplest form. Shaking my head...

I have sone nice App glasses I reach for many meals, but if it is me and the wife in an empty nest I grab a plastic App cup from a previous App sporting event. That happens 90% of the time.

I could grab a UNCC Battle of the beard cup now but I have to work to keep Norm turned away from me. No one needs Norm staring at them while eating.

I frequent the bar/restaurants around Boone after the games with the family and love buying any new App branded beer glasses they have. I pretty much would buy anything branded Appalachian though....
