Interesting. Is this used at all by the “Committee” for NY6 bids?

Clemson and App State have been the two best football programs in the Carolinas for awhile. App State is clearly the second-best team in the Carolinas this season.

I saw this last week... Pretty in depth analysis, so it does hold a lot of weight when trying to compare apples to oranges and all of the chaos that is College Football

They use their own statistical data but in the end, it's humans making the CFB Playoff Top 25 and thus, which G5 goes to the NY6.

Not to knock the analysis but it has App's special teams ranked 36th. That seems a bit low for a team that has a kick return and 2 punt returns for TD's along with a couple punt and FG blocks with one resulting in a TD. I guess a couple of those long kickoff returns App's kickoff coverage has given up drops the overall ST's.

"Special Teams S&P+ rating: This is an initial attempt to measure play-for-play special teams efficiency, weighted for overall importance."
