I did not want to start a new thread about App's BIG MATCH-UP but thought some might find the viewership ratings interesting (or depressing). It's unfortunate, as far as ratings go, that stAte did not make it a game and the FunBelt was competing against the Yankees v Red Sox Division series in the same time slot with the game ending 4-3.

I'm sure it didn't help that ESPN2 showed the baseball game in some areas instead. That's what happened to me. I was on a cruise ship and settled in to watch the game and right after the college football logo came up at the beginning of the broadcast, it switched to the baseball. In the big picture though, App State/Arky State v. Yankees/Red Sox is not even a choice for 99.9% of the country.
