Looks good, but I want the AP rank. Beating stAte tonight hopefully will make that happen.

That pole is pretty much a beauty pageant.....now 24 in the AP poll would mean something.

I remember Furman and Western being on top of the I-AA heap and getting stomped by them and others.

Glad we've moved on up, but wish the G5 would get a 4 team playoff.

I was one that was in the G5 playoff camp but seeing what has happened lately with P5’s getting knocked off more regularly and with UCF moving up I think that the landscape is changing.

Most P5 already sees G5 as "JV".

As far as I can tell it's not really a poll, just one guy doing the rankings. Agree that actually being ranked in one of the two major polls (or better yet, the CFP rankings) would be the standard.

G5 is JV in the scheme of football, only going to play for the conference championship - period, and a who cares bowl - in the scheme of football as it exists today.

The only answers to somehow climb above the SunBelt, into a P5 or remain a second class citizen.

We're sitting in the low 30s in most major polls. I think that's about right. Our sexiest "win" is a loss to a really good Penn State. I get that the advanced analytics say we're good, and that's great, but that doesn't really matter. We need to beat Arkansas State handily tonight on national TV and hope the voters are watching. I think that gets us in the 26-30 range for a lot more voters. Win 1 more after that and the process of elimination ahead of us should do it.
