It'll be a great day if somehow we can manage to vault higher out of the ScumBelt.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 8:39 amI've noticed the last few seasons that there are a few commentator teams which I think were in the 'Belt prior to realignment. Re: Officiating in a Win
Hopefully one day the Big XII will decide that they actually want to live up to their namesake, take a few AAC teams (probably Cincy) and then we get an invite to the AAC. I know we can argue terms, stats and the whatnot about the American, but if glaringly obvious that if you're in that conference, you get a lot more mentioning and notice than you do if you're in the MW, SB, CUSA or MAC. And by the way they like to tout themselves as the "Power 6" conference, they know this. Just gotta keep winning and building up the fanbase. I drove from the Triad to Raleigh yesterday and I saw a lot of yellow "A" decals on passing vehicles. We're catching on as a brand I think.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 8:36 amIt'll be a great day if somehow we can manage to vault higher out of the ScumBelt.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 8:39 amI've noticed the last few seasons that there are a few commentator teams which I think were in the 'Belt prior to realignment. So let’s Say the Big XII takes any combination of Cincy, Memphis, UCF or USF. Would that not instantly downgrade the AAC?

Not if the AAC replaced with App Sate, then it'd be an upgrade!!

Funny because it was down 17 percent immediately after the filing on the sale went up Wednesday. Good rebound.

I'm sorry but I refuse to denigrate the one league that was willing to throw us a lifeline to FBS. Perhaps, one day we will land in stronger conference but rather than good riddance, I would say thanks the chance you gave us.
