Arkansas State Receivers Last Night

Unread post by NewApp » Wed Oct 10, 2018 9:28 am

Those pitiful guys couldn't catch a cold in a blizzard. Granted, most of the problem the Ark receivers had was due to our defense, but still they dropped several wide open passes.
Were their hands made of brick, stone, or concrete? LOL

We had quite a few bad drops early in the game as well.

We had way too many drops.

But thought they were the most talented team in the conference?

After his INT near the end of the half, Hansen fell apart. His body language was terrible and he couldn't hit a receiver.

Also, he never threw a ball more than 20 yards down the field.

That was a stupid call to make on a short 3rd down and being so close to your own end zone. Hansen telegraphed the throw the entire way. He was done after that INT.

Yes, I realize that, but their's was throughout the game for the most part.

Hansen looked average last night, I’m going to give our defense and scheme credit

Did any App receiver have more than two catches? We have yet to put it all together- scary. With all the drops we had and with the slow start we still blew out a good team.

I think Anderson said post-game that he thought they had picked up the first down or he would've changed the call. Shouldn't a coach know what the game situation is at all times?

Zac completed 12 passes to, I believe it was, 9 different receivers.

Both teams receivers were dropping balls early on. Then we turned it around and they wilted. Their quarterback was terrible, why all the hype?

We nearly started off giving the ball back on the first punt when #48 thought he needed to jump on the ball. LoL
