Parking

Unread post by stafford » Tue Oct 16, 2018 2:23 pm

For those that don't have a parking space, where do you park for a football game? The last time I went to a game without a designated space, I parked in the field across from the funeral home. I think it is part of Jaycee Park. It was a good little walk just to get to Stadium Drive. What options are available?

I park at the Baptist church by the Library Deck. Easy in, easy out.

The Baptist lot is a great option. Close to the bookstore and facilities. We used to park there all the time. Get there early though!!

I did that for homecoming. We got there around 11 and was one of the last folks to get a spot. It was a great spot for those who don’t have Yosef parking.

If the Baptist lot is full, you might try the metered spaces in the lot behind town across from the Watauga County Library. Straight shot down to Rivers Street.

Baptist would be great if they allowed alcohol.

On campus options that are free are available as well. Lots include Broyhill and Baseball field.

Even though it's no longer free ($20.00 now) the Watauga Cty. Human Services lot is a good option with Appalcart shuttle to and from the stadium. 132 Poplar Grove Connector.

Looking for a place to park for Homecoming. A parking pass would be nice but any suggestions as to where and what time to be there to get a spot in some of the alternative parking lot would be greatly appreciated .
