***Friday UPDATE***

Not major changes to the forecast thinking. Rain early AM, then tapering off as we close in on noon. I'm still thinking the game is dry and we should see some improved sky conditions by halftime or the 3rd quarter.

Winds will be picking up with some gusts near 35 MPH; stronger after the end of the game. So, if headed off the mountain later in the evening, both hands on the wheel. Winds won't be as active and lower elevations.

**THURSDSAY AM UPDATE**

Looks like rain in the AM, with the rain done by noon'ish to 1 pm. Overall thinking is dry for the game at this point. Will monitor for any timing changes over the next 24 hours.

Winds will likely be gusty (to 35 MPH) on the back side of the cold front. Pack for warmth!

This is the early stab for Saturday. There are some timing issues that can work in our favor, but, can't really get those nailed down until later Wednesday.

As of Tuesday Eve, looks like we'll have plenty of clouds Saturday morning with the chance for some rain and drizzle. We may see some improving conditions by noon and for the start of the game. By improving, I mean, rain chances diminishing, and some breaks in the clouds. As mentioned before, timing issues, if the cold front is a bit quicker than current expectations, then OK, dry for the game. Conversely, however, slow, and we'll keep some drizzle around for at least the start of the game.

I'm taking the optimistic route for now. Also, don't expect the 60s; looks like mid 50s will be the norm for most of the day. Upper 40s for the early to mid morning time frame.

Winds should be picking up late in the 4th and through the rest of the evening hours.

You just did! The good news, even through the AM will see some rain, we are talking roughly .10" of rain; not a deluge by any means. But, misty, drizzly, light rain, allows you to get closer to your favorite tailgating buddies! Some "Mountain Anti-Freeze" helps the chill go away.... Apple pie....
