Just a heads up for those heading into the stadium. Check out the benches our guests brought with them today. And for those not at the game I'll give you two words...propane heated.... . Would love to see that on Sports Center tonight. Only one word I can think of for that but it breaks the board rules.

Re: APP STATE vs LaLaLand!
When Jalin went down I said it wouldn't affect us and it was next man up. Well it has been next man up with Evans....but we are truly a different team without Moore. Surprised me how much different we are.
And I don't mean this as a bad thing.

It’s like Thomas is hurt or we don’t want to show anything. We have to be less conservative or we’ll end up losing it seems.

Re: APP STATE vs LaLaLand!
Didn’t play our best game on offense. Defense looked good most of the game. Just a bit conservative for my liking but if Thomas is hurt and running the ball is the way keep him from taking hits I’ll take it.. Big game Thursday!! Lets go handle business in Statesboro

Weird game. I think we are holding back on the playbook and getting our RBs used to heavy workloads. Grind it out type win against what I think is the Sun Belt Wests best team.

Re: APP STATE vs LaLaLand!
Definitely what I felt like we were doing. The whole game seemed to be that "conservative" Satterfield Floyd Mayweather type play calling. Jab jab jab, occasional shot to see what lands. He never opened it up. Maybe he thought we did not need to.

If it’s any consolation, NMSU is giving Stink a run for their money with the Aggies just down by a TD at halftime.

Re: APP STATE vs LaLaLand!
We looked very flat today especially Offense. Just as ASUtodd alluded to above I feared losing Jalin would have an impact.....Evans, a truly incredible talent like we have never seen is a little different mold.....he may come through with some time as more of the workhorse between tackles with experience ....right now he may be a touch quicker than the linemen development of play....I'm sure the coaches will work the bugs out.....but if not I think we should be attempting to bring along Peoples for this role sooner than later. The other talent seems to be more slot/speed oriented as well all the more reason to quickly groom Peoples for stiffer competition defensively that lies in games ahead. Time is of the essence.
KICK ASS!!!

Re: APP STATE vs LaLaLand!
The thing with Jalin was even though he carried the most experience......he could do it all!

Great way to put it......sometimes have to appreciate a win is a win and you have to accept the slower progression of things.
