It did. The game was 27-10 until the onside kick and subsequent prevent defense proved inadequate for stopping the run. But if you go back and watch, New Mexico State had success running the ball and in running a lot of the same routes App likes to run.hapapp wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 7:39 pmSorta like the UL-NMSU gave us an indication of the final score on Saturday.ericsaid wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 2:34 pmBased on the game against NMSU, App has an opportunity to win this game by 3 scores. NMSU has a FCS quality defense, so it's tough to extrapolate that side of the ball. But if Thomas can get off of his first read and push the ball downfield, App should be in good shape.
But I also believe that Louisiana is better than Southern. They are excited to be 6-1, which makes sense. But their last three games have been against South Alabama, Texas State, and New Mexico State; Texas State and New Mexico State were away games. This sets up nicely for App, so long as the execution is there.
