Huesman start next week imo, not his fault players can't can't catch the ball. Much more zip than #2 QB. 2 receiver tipped passes responsible for our interception total. No surprises here tonight. Saw this coming!

Disagree tonight!!! GSU was clearly the better team.appstatealum wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 8:59 pmNo excuse. We were and still are the better team. Clearly we did not come in with the focus that many of us who have lived through this rivalry for the last 18 plus years knew we needed to have. You simply can’t give a team at home this kind of momentum.

To me this shows how much the team has been relying on 2 players. With zac and Jalin out they can’t move the ball.

Kids in the blue helmets beat the kids in the black ones. It’ll be alright.

Absolutely not. Get ahold of yourself. They knocked out our QB1 and got every break imaginable, officiating and chance alike. We’re still the best team in the Belt.JMappfan5 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 9:08 pmDisagree tonight!!! GSU was clearly the better team.appstatealum wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 8:59 pmNo excuse. Ridiculous claim when you’re down by 20.Gonzo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 9:11 pmAbsolutely not. Get ahold of yourself. Re: Appalachian State vs. Georgia Southern [Gameday Thread]
I HATE blaming the refs. Great teams win despite officiating mistakes. Ball don’t lie, and App’s offense has been trying to give the ball back to Southern as fast as possible. HOWEVAH! I’m almost certain their should’ve been a 15 yard penalty on the hit that knocked Thomas out of the game, and a kick-catch interference call on the muffed punt by Duck. I believe those two calls would’ve negated 14 points right there. The Mountaineers would still be down 13-7 in the fourth quarter, but that’s a lot more manageable than what we’re currently seeing.
Anyway, we’ve still won, what? 11 out of the last 16 games against the Stink? We will still make a bowl game and probably win that too.

Can we please quit talking about how much better we are than everyone else. We obviously are not as good as we think. Scott was totally out coached and our team not prepared. I love App but this was embarassing after getting all the love for getting ranked. Hope they bounce back and win the rest of the games.

All things considered one of the worst losses in recent memory- opponent, ranked, lack of effort

Give it up, we got beat tonight. And, we are not the best team in the Belt. You prove it on the field and tonight we got whipped.Gonzo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 9:11 pmAbsolutely not. Oh well, we had our 5 minutes of fame. Now let's regroup and win the Camellia Bowl.

Re: Appalachian State vs. Georgia Southern [Gameday Thread]
Wrong. Can’t say that under the circumstances. We can definitely say GS better than our team led by our second and third string QBs, but that’s as far as I’ll go. You simply cannot be that inept on offense against a triple option that will continue to grind your defense down. That is the only time that pathetic version of football is worth while. We play this game 5 times with a healthy Zac, GS wins nothing. I’ve seen too much good things from this team to believe this PATHETIC showing is more of our identity than the other 6 games.JMappfan5 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 9:08 pmDisagree tonight!!! Re: Appalachian State vs. Georgia Southern [Gameday Thread]
We weren’t prepared to lose ZT. That’s the story of the game. I’ve been bitching about the refs, which were a primary factor, but at the end of the day we were good enough to win despite losing QB1 if we had the depth there. Defending the TO revolves around keeping your cool and going down big with no QB got in the Defenders’ Heads. Worst loss in years. It all came together against us. Get well soon, ZT. You’re our only hope.

Re: Appalachian State vs. Georgia Southern [Gameday Thread]
We’ll take our lumps like men. But, 5 turnovers, 91 yards in penalties to 10. Some suspect calls and loss of Zack... damn shame
