Oh, we noticed. As I referenced before, good thing I didn’t make the trip to Statesboro. A dark side of me that I thought was long washed cleaned by my Savior would have come out.

Deeper than Hate as a name for this rivalry may just be fitting....

It'll be interesting to see what happens in the 2019 match-up, hopefully the pay back will be hell!

I was at the game was was treated cordially by alums and fans. But the students? People on this board complain about the behavior of our students. Our students are angels compared to the GSU bunch. They were yelling at us more than watching the game. Total lack of class. I would be embarrassed to be a Ga Southern fan today; especially as easily as it was heard on tv. And why the visitors are seated next to the student section has been a question I ask every 2 years when I go down there?

They started that before the game, the whole student section was constantly turning around a giving us the finger. True classlessness.

I was there. They were doing that all night starting at warm ups. I think thr refs thought yhey were shouting instructions to them because they certainly carried them out.

Strategic, and it works. I don't ever want to go to a game there. If you have that rep, then visitors won't travel. Why else would they do it?

1) The f*** App State, perfectly audible on national TV.
2) Rushing the field. Does the Sun Belt allow this? Also, so cute that they rushed the field after beating us. Guess it's been a while?

I don't see much difference than our student yelling you suck ***hole on kick offs. We need to get that stopped.

I was just going to say the same thing about how our students chant that on KO's. It is a complete embarrassment.

Big difference. Can't always make it out on TV. But the F bomb on tv multiple times clearly heard does not reflect well.

You can disagree but it needs to stop at Kidd Brewer, it's not a good look for our university. I don't care about GSU or how their students act.

I said I would never go back to that shithole 17 or so years ago. I went back last night and the f#$k App State and middle fingers started as we were tailgating. It never stopped. The older GSU fans were nice, thanked me for coming, but the students were CLASSLESS trash. Really don't know if I'll ever go back to that clASSless stink hole.

Well, let's let you be the judge. If instead of letting an f-bomb slip while watching the game take a wrong turn, he instead yelled "F--- Georgia Southern!, " would that have been better? You don't have to be much of a lip-reader to know that the occasional f-bomb exclamation on the sidelines is normal. That's the same as a straight up taunt? I don't think you believe that.

I'm no prude, but your fans made the ESPN camera guys blush. It was hilarious. The one dude in the crowd with the giant beard started the chant while the camera was square on him, and the abrupt cutaway was noticeable. Then a few times later it was loud enough to hear during gameplay.

We have our own issues with not-so-classy chants from time to time--you can surely find the threads if you're bored enough to hunt around--but most of us don't defend them.

the dancing around and waving bye at the ejection was a bit much. It is no secret that GUS is a classless group, pretty much universally known. But hey, when they are kicking your azz and you appear not to do anything about it, deal with it. I have said many times that i will never go there, they do not deserve my money. They do like to mention how we dont travel well there, but seem not to see the reason.
