I would definitely like to be playing for another ring. But if that doesn't happen, the a regional P5 game would be a good option. Money game, easy travel for our fanbase, more exposure for our program and another opportunity to beat a P5!!!

We are playing hypotheticals... so the NY6 is the situation I would choose a P5 over a CCG.

IF we didn’t lose a couple weeks ago, IF we were still the 2nd ranked G5 and/or IF UCF had a loss and we found ourselves top ranked G5 would I choose a P5 over CCG. Top 50 (VT) vs. a Top 150 (ULM).

It's a no-brainer in my mind. The SBC championship is way more important than a P5 win. The kids play for those rings and anyway the P5 wins are going to become a regular thing for our Mountaineers...we are excruciatingly close to having 3 P5 wins already during our transition phase no less.

I'd prefer The SBC championship as well. However, DG did state during the pre-game yesterday that in case we didn't make it to the championship game, he has been in communication with other institutions to schedule that 12th game (if need be). I believe he said something along those lines. Once again, I'd would much prefer to play for the Championship.
